Animal Scents Testimonials

Two weeks ago, I was due to go visit a client and work with her dog. When I got there, she informed me that her dog had been lame for hours, and she was unsure if we would go ahead and work with her. I inspected her paw pads and feet, and discovered that one paw pad had a pretty deep crack in it. We took out Animal Scents, and slathered her foot with it, making sure to get it in the crack. I rubbed her foot, and her leg up and down to get the circulation going. 20 MINUTES LATER, she was no longer lame! Because she now applies Animal Scents every day, the dogs paws are soft to the touch and don't crack. Using Animal Scents before you take your dog out in winter also helps protect their feet against the salt and elements. -- Nicole

I have always used the Animal Scents Shampoo on our 2 year old Pug. Her coat is always so soft and she smells great. It is low lathering but it doesn't need to lather to do the job. -- Barbara

I have found with my clients that they have a problem without actually seeing the shampoo suds/lather up as much as most shampoos with toxins in them. But I use it on my dogs and some other dogs because I KNOW that it is working, I don't need to see suds to know that. But you can only do so much to make people understand that if they aren't willing to give it a chance. -- Heather

I've been using it a lot lately because my dog is hosting some stubborn fleas. I purchased one of the 7.5 ounce non-aerosol pump bottles from Rachael's Supply (I'll dig out the link if you're interested). I put 1-2 ounces of the shampoo in it and filled it with water and it works great. It creates a foam that is much easier to apply than the shampoo straight out of its original bottle. It lasts a lot longer and foams up well. The scent is very earthy and pleasing. I've added a few drops of Pine Oil and it smells like a nice aftershave cream. And her hair is very soft and shiny with this product. It's a keeper! -- Barbara

I have a long haired dachshund that is obviously very close to the ground and requires a bath once a month. I take him to the groomers and she has used medicated shampoo on him.

For some reason, whether it is the regular shampoo or the medicated shampoo, Joey seems to scratch. His ears, his sides, whatever. My groomer said he has really dry skin.

I purchased the Animal Scents Shampoo. It was 11 days before he scratched at all. I have kept an eye on him, and he hardly scratches at all now. And that's after just 1 shampoo. It's like having a new dog! -- Laurel

I also have had an episode in my house with 6 indoor cats which means lots of time combing them! I believe they came from my neighbor who has a dog. At any rate, if the Animal Scents Shampoo is not available, I would use our Bath Gel Base and add Lavender or Purification to it to bathe your animals. I've been using a spray mixture of Rosemary and Cedar oils on my carpet and their bedding etc. I am happy to say that the fleas are almost gone! -- Diana

We have had a litter of puppies under our house, and when they came out they had fleas. Then, that turned into something that looked like mange or ringworm and was spreading too. We tried alot of different oils and such but when I put the Animal Scents ointment on the bad spots, most of it seemed to go in just one night. One of the puppies has a tail that looked really bad and now it just looks bad. We will keep putting it on three times a day and see how long it takes.

One other nice thing I notice is that they do not cry when I put the ointment on them, it seems to soothe what they are feeling and they are happy to have it on them. -- Holly

Several weeks ago, I noticed that my cat Vinny had scratched off a patch of fur on his ear. Upon closer inspection, he had what looked like bite or scratch marks on his ear, and they had bled. He and my other cat play pretty rough! It wasn't bleeding anymore by the time I noticed it, but I grabbed the Animal Scents and started putting it on. Later that day, I noticed he wasn't scratching at his ear anymore. The next day, the sores were almost gone. On the third day, not only were they completely gone, but the hair started to grow back on his ear! -- Nicole

I use the Young Living Animal Scents Shampoo. It's the absolute best shampoo I've ever used. I put a couple of squirts of the concentrate into a large 32 ounce plastic bottle then fill that with water. After I get my dog real wet I just squeeze the entire 32 ounce bottle all over him and massage it in and rinse. When he's nearly dry I use some Animal Scents Ointment as a leave-in conditioner. Recently my mom was over and she kept commenting on how shiny Shadrach's coat is. The shampoo rinses so clean and both the shampoo and ointment have essential oils in them that repel bugs and help the skin. Really good products and they are the only ones I suggest to my own clients. Have a tail waggin' day! -- Kim

Humans Love Animal Scents Too

Animal Scents Shampoo is all-natural and balances emotions. It can be put on an open gash or open wound. It cleans the wound and renders it bacteria-free with no pain. It will pull out sand and gook.

My father has very thin skin on his arms also. He uses Animal Scents Ointment. One application works like a miracle clearing all blood shots, so I'm sure regular use will do the trick! -- Quilla

Animal Scents Ointment is the best hemorrhoid treatment I have ever seen. I have used it successfully on scrapes on my Grandchildren's knees. Just cover with a band aid. Healings have been very rapid. At one of the conventions, Gary Young told the story of his horse that had a bad deep sore on his leg. I believe it might have been caused by a snake bite. He packed it with Animal Scents and had a total healing very rapidly. -- Bob

I love the Animal Scents Shampoo on my hair. It strips all of the hairspray, etc really well! -- Jessica

Animal Scents is wonderful stuff! Usually, with the onset of winter, my hands and feet get so dry they crack and bleed. That hasn't happened so far. It's December, and I don't have a hangnail to show for it! I also have poor circulation in my hands come the winter. Animal Scents helps a lot with that, too! I've also noticed that since I've been using it, my nails are in better shape. I could never grow my nails too long because they would break or split. That doesn't happen anymore. Animal Scents has taken the place of my hand lotions, cuticle creams, foot softeners and exfoliants - it also lasts a lot longer, which saves me A LOT of money! -- Nicole

Late one evening, I noticed a sty developing on my eyelid. It was starting to get sore. While getting ready for bed, I dabbed a tiny amount of Animal Scents Ointment on it. When I awoke in the morning, no more sty! -- Gloria
